Paddington Bear, the English bear everyone adores has arrived in Malaysia!
Hailing all the way from London, Paddington Bear touched down at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) yesterday and he is set for a road trip to various iconic locations in Malaysia to celebrate the premiere of Paddington this 11 December 2014 in cinemas.
Being named after the popular Paddington station in London, Paddington Bear’s love for trains was apparent as he made his journey from KLIA to KL Sentral with the LRT. This, of course, delighted and amused the passengers on board. Some even got up close with Paddington Bear to take selfies with him.
After all, it’s hard to miss the 5 foot 5 inch tall Paddington Bear with his iconic blue duffle coat, red hat and suitcase.
We also had the chance to meet the cuddly bear for photos and took the LRT with Paddington Bear himself from KL Sentral to KLCC. After that journey, we had a delightful breakfast and tea at Harrods Cafe in KLCC.
Before parting with Paddington Bear, we also got to catch Paddington at TGV Cinemas, KLCC, ahead of its 11 December 2014 local release!
The movie is directed by Paul King and stars Ben Whishaw (Paddington Bear), Nicole Kidman (Millicent), Hugh Bonneville (Mr. Brown), Sally Hawkins (Mrs. Mary Brown) and Julie Walters (Mrs. Bird).
