LINE, the world’s leading messaging platform with 170 million monthly active users globally, officially launched the LINE Friends pop-up store at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya, this morning. The pop-up store will be opened from 27th November 2014 until 2nd January 2015. Previously, the LINE Friends pop-up store was also erected at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
The pop-up store will give LINE fans the ultimate experience whereby they can purchase official LINE merchandise, collect limited edition products and also participate in various activities as well as giveaways. All LINE users are entitled to a 10% discount voucher via the LINE Event Official account (ID: LINEeventmy) to shop at the pop-up store.
Every Monday, LINE is also giving away free LINE merchandise through its popular Lucky Chance Event on the messaging app itself. Aside from that, there is also Lucky Price, whereby LINE users will get a chance to purchase limited edition 100cm Brown and Cony dolls at a very low price.
The world’s biggest Moon statue, which was inducted by The Malaysia’s Book of Records, will be stationed at IOI City Mall as well. You can also win prizes by taking a selfie with the world’s biggest Moon! All you have to do is install the B612 camera app, take the selfie with the world’s biggest Moon and post it on social media with the hashtag #LINExmas2014. The best selfies will be announced on the LINE Event Official account every Friday and the winners will stand a chance to take home a pair of the Brown and Cony doll set.
The LINE Friends pop-up store has been a huge success in over 10 cities and countries, including Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia and more. To date, LINE operates four permanent stores in South Korea and Taiwan, including the recently opened LINE Friends store in Everland, the largest theme park in South Korea.
