Scandinavian clothing label Monki will open its second outlet tomorrow at IOI Mall Putrajaya. The opening of the 320 sq. m. store will be followed by a third outlet opening in 1 Utama Shopping Centre – the world’s fourth largest mall. The 1 Utama concept store is 226 sq. m. and will open on 6th December.
“Monki and Malaysia are a great match,” says Lea Rytz Goldman, Managing Director. “When the 1 Utama store has opened, we will have opened three stores in just eight months. We look forward to sharing our Monki style with new Malaysian fans—they’re the reason we’re here.”
Stepping into a Monki store is stepping into an imagined Monki world. With features such as floating water lily lamps and decor that’s inspired by a large, mystical sea creature, it’s definitely a one-of-a-kind shopping experience.
To celebrate Monki’s second outlet that will open on the 20th November, the first 100 in line will be given a RM50 gift card when the store opens along with other opening offers.
Monki has more than 85 shops in nine European countries, Japan, mainland China, Hong Kong and Malaysia and an online store that delivers to 18 European countries. Monki was founded in 2006 and is owned by H&M.
