Malaysia’s leading urban bookstore chain took a different turn from its regular book and reading-related activities recently with the media launch of Blackheart, the latest English album by Malaysian singer Amanda Imani.
“Creativitiy comes in many different forms and at Borders we are constantly looking at ways to put it at the forefont, to be made an example of. An English language album written, composed and produced by a young Malaysian could not be more apt. Blackheart demonstrates how creativity has been combined with knowledge, talent and determination, with amazing results,” said Borders General Manager, Peter Xavier.
Amanda Imani’s new album, which containts 7 songs and 2 bonus tracks, will be available at Borders. It was also announced that 30% of the proceeds from the album sales will be contributed to one of Amanda’s favourite charity, Malaysia Independent Animal Rescue.
