The 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards that was held in Glasgow, Scotland saw Nicki Minaj host, perform and win awards all in one night. The Hip hop singer performed her top singles, Anaconda and Superbass in a corset that left very little to audience’s imagination.
One Direction, Ariana Grande and Katy Perry also took prizes.
The star-studded music event had performances by Grande, Charli XCX, Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys and of course, legendary Irish rock group U2.
One Direction bagged three awards including the award for Biggest Fans, however, since they weren’t physically at the event, they had to accept their winnings via satellite. Grande who performed at the event won two awards, which includes Best Song for “Problem.” Alicia Keys looking radiant as she is pregnant with her second child, took home an award that was presented by British Singer, Emile Sande.
Guitarist, Slash presented the special Global Icon Award to Ozzy Osbourne, who attended the 2014 MTV EMA with his wife Sharon Osbourne.
