Butterfly in a jar

When you were young, have you ever wished that you could, or tried to keep a butterfly in a jar? And keep them forever and ever? But they’d never survive and as kids, we’d be heartbroken because, butterflies were like magical creatures (akin to rainbows and unicorns).

Now, with a little bit of help from technology, that dream of keeping a butterfly in a jar forever can come true. And this death-defying magical piece of nature can be placed anywhere you want – on your work desk, on your dresser, on your coffee table at home. It’s hard not to smile at the beatiful butterfly flittering around in the jar. Especially one that doesn’t require food, or water, or sunlight, or any other extra special care.

There are four different butterflies to choose from including a pink morpho, blue morpho, monarch, or a yellow swallowtail. And each jar (only one butterfly per jar) will only cost you about USD19.99 (RM57). These special little beings respond to taps or loud sounds. And if you watch closely enough, you might catch it flexing its colourful wings when it’s not busy “dancing” around in its glass home.

And perhaps the most comforting part of it all is that this is in no way cruel because, it’s electronic. That’s right! The butterfly will never die unless if you forget to replace its batteries. Also, it makes a great gift for butterfly lovers of all ages. Oh joy! We’re already wanting one for every single room in our homes.
