American lifestyle brand, Fossil, celebrates its 30th anniversary by featuring the Fossil tin-stallation project roadshow at Level 4, Pavilion KL. At the event, Fossil celebrates its authentic brand spirit, as well as its 30 years of heritage and timeless collections with members of the press.
The tin-stallation project features two vintage sculptures (Fossil Robot & Vintage Telephone) plus an iconic Fossil 30th anniversary giant tin and I Love KL tin-stallation representing the KL city. The 8ft height Fossil robot stole the limelight and stood in towering glory. It was built using 365 tins, consisting of collections of exclusively designed tins over the years.
While the I Love KL tin-stallation was built with the iconic Kuala Lumpur tins featuring the moon kite or ‘Wau’ and Malaysia national flower – Hibiscus or more commonly known as Bunga Raya.
The tin-stallation project also involved a partnership between Fossil and 16 students of the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Cyberjaya, to draw upon the talents of youth in the Creative Arts. The students ably demonstrated their passion and creativity by building the giant vintage telephone as part of the project.
