FCC (Farmasi Colour Cosmetics) is thrilled to announce its partnership with Rania Raisyyah (formerly known as Felixia Yeap) as the brand’s first ever ambassador.
Rania, a newly revert, believe that as a Muslim, it is her duty to purchase and consume halal products. Makeup is certainly not excluded. Grateful that FCC has chosen her as the brand’s first ever ambassador, Rania said, “It would be a good start for her to further explore the beauty of Islam.”
“Since FCC is both Halal and solat-friendly, it makes my work life so much easier as my daily work routine involves a lot of makeup and photoshoot. What I would normally do is take wudhu’, apply makeup and continue with photoshoot session. If it is prayer time already, I can straightly perform solat with my makeup on because FCC is made of Halal ingredients.” added Rania.
1) What inspired you to collaborate with FCC?
I’ve always wanted to look for the perfect makeup products that are suitable for me, my sensitive skin, my lifestyle and my work routine. Ever since I have reverted, I have been searching for a makeup brand that could ease my daily prayers and could be used even when I do my salah.
That’s when FCC approached me, and they gave me an entire set to try, which I have not stopped using ever since! I have no doubt about FCC products as they are HALAL and is safe to use even when we salah. Their products are very light weight, and my face always feels fresh and naked even with makeup on. That is why I agreed to be their ambassador, as I could see this way as a da’wah channel, where we could encourage and ease Muslimah to perform their daily prayers, and also to encourage them to use HALAL products.
2) Which is your favourite product?
I am in love with a lot of their products I just don’t know which to choose, but if I could only choose 3, I would definitely go for KAJAL Secret Eyeliner Pen, SILKY TOUCH compact powder, and STYLING mascara.
3) Have you used any product prior to the collaboration?
Yes.
4) What are your plans for next year?
I hope to continue my online subtle dakwah to non-Muslims especially about the beauty of Islam and modesty, and perhaps even have my own little business with HALAL products to share with everyone. I wish to istiqamah in learning more about Islam, and also get my family a nicer house as I know its my Mom’s wish.
5) Do you have any message to your supporters?
I’d like to thank everyone who has been with me through my ups and downs, and those who had been praying for me and backing me up relentlessly without asking for anything in return. I would also wish people would be less harsh on “baby muslimahs” like me who still have a lot to learn. Lastly, I sincerely apologise if my words and actions had hurt anyone. Jazakallah Khair.
