In conjunction with World Sight Day that took place on 9th October, L’Occitane Malaysia is having a charity fundraising drive from this month until 31 December.
This year, L’Occitane’s iconic limited edition collectible comes in the form of a sustainably-sourced cotton eco-friendly tote bag. Imported from France, this ‘I Care About Sight’ tote is printed with a design chosen by L’Occitane’s Facebook fans.
With only 30,000 bags made worldwide, every purchase of this cute tote will go to MAB (Malaysian Association for the Blind) and St. Nicholas Home. The funds will be used to upgrade MAB’s Orientation and Mobility Classroom in its Kinta Valley Centre in Ipoh along with other Braille-based upgrades. Funds channeled to St. Nicholas Home will support its Pastry Training Programme which allows blind and visually-impared trainees to obtain training in baking skills.
L’Occitane’s ‘I Care About Sight’ exclusive charity tote is available at all L’Occitane stores nationwide for RM20.
