Vaseline has introduced a range of body serums that promises to deliver maximum moisture without any sticky feeling.
The new range is made up of Total Moisture Nourishing, Healthy White SPF 30 and Healthy White Perfect 10 Serum – there’s one to suit your every skin need and these body serums when compared to lotions, deliver a higher performance care thanks to the concentrated ingredients and formula.
This morning, we attended the launch that was held at Sunway Lagoon Resort & Spa where the benefits of using the body serum were revealed. The Total Moisture Nourishing serum provides 10 times of moisture boost, the Healthy White SPF 30 offers three times of skin fairness protection while the Healthy White Perfect 10 serum gives users 10 times the anti-aging benefits.
The brand was founded in 1859 by Robert Chesebrough and in 1870, the iconic Vaseline Petroleum Jelly was launched. 140 years later, Vaseline continues its strong roots in skin healing.
After a thorough product presentation, we were invited to test out the new body serums with a series of fun activities. From a moisture level test, sun damage test and absorbency demonstration, the launch kept things interesting and needless to say, we were all impressed by the light, non-oily texture and protection the serums offer.
The concept of a body serum is still fairly novel so we took the opportunity to speak to Deenie Ong, Assistant Brand Manager of Vaseline about the difference between body serums and body lotions. Ms Ong mentioned that users now have an alternative product containing higher concentration of ingredients in the formula that will provide maximum skin benefits.
Next, we were treated to a pampering session at the Balinese-inspired Mandara Spa. Along with a 50-minute relaxing Balinese oil massage, the body serum was incorporated in all our massages for a more complete experience.
The new Vaseline Body Serum Range is available at all major drugstores for just under RM20.
