For the first time in a decade, the Grammy Award Nominated, Secret Garden will stage a one-night only concert of their greatest hits on 8th November 2014 at Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The Greatest Hits Tour will be backed by a full band which includes guest vocalists.
The award winning Irish-Norwegian duo comprises of the talented composer Rolf Løvland on piano and Fionnuala Sherry on violin performing crossover pop and neo-classical music which later widely popularised as new age and world music. The duo has sold more than 4.5 million albums worldwide making them one of the best-selling new age artists of all-time.
“We are delighted to come to Kuala Lumpur with our band for the first time. We’ve heard so much about this beautiful country and we are really excited and looking forward to perform there. We will perform our ‘Greatest Hits’ program with music from all our albums from 1995 – 2014. We are mainly popular for our melodic instrumental songs, but we’ll bring vocal guests with us to perform some of our most important songs, such as “You Raise Me Up”, “Nocturne” and a few more. Expect an intimate programme of original arrangements and signature tunes from the Secret Garden in the 90-minute show. Tickets will be made available on 23rd August 2014 through TicketCharge, outlets and selected Popular Bookstore and CD Rama outlets.
