If you thought Twilight and all its sparkling glory is over, you are very wrong.
It’s been two years since the release of Breaking Dawn: Part 2 and looks like Lions Gate will be teaming up with Facebook to finance five short films that will be based on your favourite Twilight characters. It’s been said that five aspiring female directors will be chosen by a group of female panelists to direct the films, which is titled The Storytellers — New Creative Voices of ‘The Twilight Saga. The films are slated to be released next year exclusively on the social network.
The panel, according to The Times, includes Bella herself, Kristen Stewart; The Twilight Saga author Stephenie Meyer; Kate Winslet; Octavia Spencer; Julie Bowen; Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke; producer Cathy Schulman; and Frozen co-director Jennifer Lee. The sad part is that none of the original cast will start in these films. I wonder if that has anything to do with the awkwardness between K-Stew and Rob Pattinson? Who knows.
