Guess who’s back?
Rowan Atkinson, the man you would remember most fondly as (quite literally), “a child in a man’s body” kicks back once again with (the sequel to “Johnny English”), “Johnny English Reborn”. And he’s armed with nothing but..onscreen tickles to make you laugh!
Eight years after its predecessor, Johnny English (played by Rowan Atkinson) acknowledges that his career as a secret agent is almost nonexistent. After a mission in Mozambique went terribly wrong, out of utter shame, regret, and recrimination, he has resorted to hiding out and living in an obscure cave located somewhere in Tibet.
In an all-time low, who should approach him but the head monk at a nearby monastery who decides to train him in martial arts. An Englishman? Martial arts? Some hilarity ensues. But wait, one fine day, he is given one more chance to prove himself and the British Intelligence Service, MI-7, calls him back to London for a new mission!
After his agency superiors learn of an attempt by a group of international assassins to eliminate the Chinese Premier and cause global chaos, Johnny English is called upon to employ the latest in technology and gadgets to break into and unravel a web of conspiracy that runs throughout the KGB, CIA, and even MI-7.
