Now’s your chance to know what it’s like to be a coach on The Voice!
If you’re a fan of the hit singing talent search series, you wouldn’t want to miss AXN’s The Voice I Want You Tour whereby you can sit yourself down on the iconic, red seat from the show.
The famous red seat is hitting the road on-board the channel’s roving “Voice-Mobile” and will stop in Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru and Penang on weekends beginning September 20th to October 26th.
At each stop, fans can step into the world of this season’s new celebrity coaches Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams, and have their photos taken in the red swivel seat. Fans can also put their music knowledge to the test at the ‘Guess the Song’ and ‘Match the Song’ interactive games, with AXN merchandise up for grabs.
Local singing talent, dressed as The Voice coaches, will add to the festivities with performances. In addition to that, the famous The Voice microphone mascot will take the spotlight for fun photos with everyone.
This is the perfect kick-off to the upcoming US telecast of the latest and seventh season of The Voice, premiering on 23 and 24 September, airing Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8.05pm, first and exclusively on AXN (Astro channel 701 and Astro B.yond HD channel 721).
Recently winning its second consecutive Emmy Award for “Outstanding Reality-Competition Program” in 2013, The Voice remains the only talent search show to win that coveted prize. This season, The Voice will feature singer songwriter, the co-founder and lead vocalist of No Doubt, Gwen Stefani, together with rapper and record producer Pharrell Williams, as celebrity musician coaches.
They join the frontman of Maroon 5, Adam Levine, as well as Blake Shelton in search of America’s next Voice. Gwen is counting on her husband and guitarist of Bush, Gavin Rossdale to be her team’s advisor, while Pharrell has brought on board Grammy winner Alicia Keys as a mentor. Adam has enlisted the help of Stevie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac while Blake works with country band Little Big Town to coach his team.
