What is the world coming to when Barbie dolls that swear curse words are being sold to children for them to play with?
A mum recently learned that her young daughter’s barbie can squeal, “What the f**k?” at the press of a button and she is livid. Talina Evans couldn’t believe what her ears were hearing when she heard the swear words coming out of Barbie’s “mouth”.
The potty-mouthed doll has several voice-activated buttons, which has the doll singing something unclear before squealing the phrase, “What the f**k?” Apparently, the toy is made by Mattel and she made a point to take the swearing doll back to the local store.
This Barbie also says 15 different phrases including “amaze”, “I love a makeover”, “there is no substitute for glitter”, and “to the salon!”
A spokesperson from Mattel confirmed that there will be an investigation to look into this swearing Barbie matter but didn’t comment anything further.
