Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” didn’t have the longest run at #1 in the first half of 2014. Calvin Harris has been atop the Global Spotify-50 for seven weeks so far and Perry was #1 for just five weeks. Despite this, “Dark Horse” amassed more streams than any other song in the world, more than 142 million over the last six months.

Lana Del Rey’s contribution to the Malificent soundtrack and the most viral track in the world on Spotify thus far in 2014.
