The 2014 Teen Choice Awards just went on at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and plenty of our favourite young stars dressed to kill! This year’s full-size surfboard trophy was one of the best designs ever created, we reckon, and the awards featured performances by Demi Lovato, Becky G, Jason Derulo, Magic! and Rixton, among others. BEST DRESSED CELEBS
1. Lucy Hale – The Pretty Little Liars star wowed everyone in a sexy red number, paired with some studded strappy sandals and a simple clutch.
2. Nina Dobrev – Dobrev has managed to look effortlessly chic while keeping her ensemble casual and fun. We love the pops of colour on her outfit as well as her makeup look!
3. Odeya Rush – The young Israeli star looked classy in a gorgeous red gown that featured a flattering cut that complemented her figure nicely.
4. Shay Mitchell – Looking fierce in intricate white lace, the Canadian actress’s dark lippie and tan skin really made the white pop and pulled the entire look together.
5. Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner – These sisters rocked the blue carpet with their individual style and tasteful looks. Kendall looked stylish in white and Kim flaunted a statement zebra print skirt, while Kylie wore a black crop top paired with a unique asymmetrical skirt.
WORST DRESSED CELEBS
1. Victoria Justice – It is very unfortunate that the American actress and singer-songwriter looked like she had a fishnet thrown over a white dress.
2. Hilary Duff – Sorry, Hilary! We love you but that leather skirt doesn’t fit and wrap around your body very well. You could’ve done better!
3. Zendaya – The pink highlighter colour of the dress is kind of tacky and it only highlights her skinny figure in the wrong way. Also, what’s with the big bow at the back of her neck?
4. Hailee Steinfeld – This is such a mess! There are way too many fabrics and prints all in one outfit. Her smokey eye and nude lip combo looks awesome though!
5. Sasha Pieterse – We loved the 18-year-old Pretty Little Liars star’s shoes, but the dress looked like it was very poorly made and the fabric was just blah.
