According to a source who told E! News exclusively, “Jonah was hysterical. He was telling so many jokes, but then in the middle would be so sweet and sincere,” when he officiated the wedding of Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo recently at Flora Farms in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
The comedic star who’s one of the headliners for summer’s 22 Jump Street has known the singer of Maroon 5 and one of the judges for The Voice for a long time. Which is why Jonah made it a point to mention how Adam is “wonderful guy and has so much to give,” said the source.
“He also talked about how sweet Behati is and how perfect they are for one another,” the source revealed. “He set up the joke perfectly. His timing was amazing,” the source said. “Everyone was giggling.” And in addition to Jonah’s comedic role as wedding officiant, Behati’s dad, who is a minister also gave his blessing during the casual and romantic ceremony.
One of Adam’s guitarists from Maroon 5 played for the couple as they walked down the aisle. The couple also read out vows, which they had written themselves, before saying “I do.”
Marchesa confirmed exclusively to E! News that the South African beauty wore a stunning lace gown with spaghetti straps and silk tulle from knee to floor. She also donned a long veil and slipped into a “long, white sexy number,” for the reception after.
Most of the bridesmaids were Victoria Secret models, including Coco Rocha and they all wore white dresses while the groomsmen sported black Hawaiian print shirts to match with black trousers.
The source said that guests enjoyed an “amazing” selection of food. “It was all fresh, seared tuna, lovely salads, everything was organic and amazing.” The source also added, “Drinks were flowing. There was every kind of mojito you can imagine.” Among the flavours that they served included Jalapeño, cucumber, and carrot.
