Ribeye Steak with Roasted Onion Sauce – A flame grilled ribeye steak topped with homemade roasted onion sauce with a hint of lemon pepper. Served with a choice of two sides. Price: RM63.90
Lipstiq’s verdict: We had the opportunity to review this dish and it’s a real winner. The roasted onion sauce is sweet with a hint of smoky flavour and it accompanied the steak beautifully. Our only suggestion is to order this medium rare because it’s a thin cut so by the time the steak arrives on your table, it will be perfectly cooked. Unless of course, you have an aversion to bloody steaks then by all means, go ahead and order it medium or well done.
New York Strip with Peppered Beef Bacon and Asparagus Relish – A flame grilled New York Strip topped with peppered beef bacon and asparagus relish and glazed with white balsamic glaze. Served with mashed potatoes. Price: RM63.90
Lipstiq’s verdict: While many may not be a fan of asparagus, we certainly are. Everything about this dish is flavourful. We ordered for a medium-well steak, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The juiciness of the meat was accompanied with the delicious peppered beef bacon, which left us craving for more. If there had to be a perfect dish at Tony Roma’s, we feel like this particular one could be it.
