Long live the Queen!
Kate Middleton looked as chic as ever in a cropped, textured light blue jacket and skirt by British fashion house Alexander Mcqueen, which happens to be one of her favourite designers. Her dashing husband Prince William on the other hand, wore a black and gold-trimmed uniform, as they celebrated the 88th birthday of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, at the Trooping the Colour parade in London on Saturday, June 14.
The Queen wore a powder blue silk Angela Kelly coat with navy blue floral accents over a dress and matching hat, according to Hello! magazine. The 32-year-old Duchess of Cambridge, sadly, did not bring the couple’s adorable 10-month-old baby son Prince George, rode in a carriage with Prince William’s 29-year-old brother, Prince Harry, and stepmother, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, who went for the opposite Sleeping Beauty look.
Instead of blue, she opted for a pale pink blazer over a white V-neck shirt, topped with a matching hat decorated with a massive rose and ribbons.
