50 Shades of Grey fans, we’ve got just the news to perk up your Tuesday morning.
It appears that Jamie Dornan, the hunky actor who plays Christian Grey in E.L. James’ erotic novel has issues with his body. Who would have thought!
In his recent photo shoot with Interview magazine, Dornan strips down to his underwear and while there’s no denying that his body is scorching hot (we’re sure that’s one of the reasons why he was selected to play Christian Grey) the underwear model-turned-actor admits, “I don’t like my physique,” before proceeding to ask, “Who does?”.
“I was a skinny guy growing up,” he explained. “And I still feel like that same skinny kid.”
Body issues aside, the Irish actor says that he is “happy to get a chance to play Christian.”
He also told Interview mag that he believes in the less-is-more acting approach, saying, “I don’t want to be showy…I’m not interested in seeing that, and I don’t want to do it.” He added, “I’ve played a lot of broken people.”
“Maybe the silences are about the different kinds of vulnerability in all of them,” he continued.
Well, judging from the popularity of the books, we gather ladies don’t really mind a flawed male protagonist with a penchant for BDSM.
