The selfie movement seems to have taken over the world, especially over social media platforms such as Instagram. It’s a constant race of who can take a better picture or selfie. 1) Dead Sea, Israel
If you’re in Israel, you have to make a stop at Mineral Beach. It’s one of the most well-kept beaches that the famous Dead Sea has to offer. There is plenty of local black mud to lather your body with and you can also take plenty of selfies in water that is probably the saltiest ever. Sadly, you can kiss this travel spot goodbye if you’re Malaysian as our passports don’t allow entry into Israel.
2) Machu Pichu, Peru
Any experienced traveller (and even if you aren’t one) should visit Machu Pichu in Peru. Much like the Great Pyramids of Giza, Machu Pichu has become an icon. And with llamas roaming around the area, this place makes the perfect spot for a selfie or being photobombed by one.
3) Great Wall of China, China
The Great Wall of China is a must-visit for anyone that visits this pretty darn cool country. If you’ve braved the long walk on the Great Wall, there is no more awesome way than taking the way back down by getting on a toboggan. While you’re whizzing back down, why not take your smartphone and take the most daring selfie of all time?
4) Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
This waterfall in Africa that borders between Zimbabwe and Zambia is twice as tall, twice as long and twice as captivating compared to Niagra Falls. There is a swing over the gorge and bungee jumping for those who love to live life dangerously. For those who really love to live on the edge (literally!), head to the naturally formed Devil’s Pool and, what else, take a selfie!
5) Greece
We couldn’t pick only one place from Greece, because let’s face it, all of Greece is simply stunning. From Athens to Santorini to Crète, you can always snap a breathtaking selfie.
6) Angkor Wat, Cambodia
The Angkor Wat, a must-visit, will leave you speechless even after 12 centuries since its building first began. Admire the beauty of the architecture and cop yourselves some awesome Tomb-Raider-like selfies! Prepare to be mesmerised!
7) Chittorgarh Fort, India
Known to be the largest fort in India, this historic spot holds a lot of history for the country. After being passed through so many rulers and used in war battles, then only to be abandoned, this part of India finally got refurbished in 1905 This particular spot may require an extra pair of hands, so that you can fit both the scenery and yourself into the shot.

Considered to be the most-visited and most-photographed canyon in the American South West, the Antelope Canyon is one of nature’s wonder that will leave you in awe. Enjoy colourful rock formations as your backdrop when you’re snapping away.
9) Dog Sledding in Alaska
We’re not quite sure if there is anything cooler than dog sledding. This unconventional way of exploring nature will be exhilarating for anybody who loves a little adventure!
10) Boulders Beach, Cape Town, South Africa
What is better than being photobombed by a llama? Being photobombed by penguins! Somewhere in Cape Town, there is a beach that has these black and white cuties roaming around just waiting for you to take a picture with them! You can even pet them, but first, “let me take a selfie!“
