A KFC worker in Wales was reportedly fired after claiming to have placed pubic hair in a customer’s food.
The employee posted on a Facebook page, titled “Spotted Cardiff”, for people in and around Cardiff, Wales to anonymously share random feelings, thoughts, photos and rants.
Later that evening, a KFC spokesperson told Wales Online that the person responsible for the post was indeed a KFC employee, but that the employee “has confirmed that the post is untrue and that it was a spur of the moment social media prank after the altercation at the drive-thru.”
Well, the worker got fired anyway, according to a statement, which continues as such, “We have the highest standards of food hygiene and do not tolerate even the suggestion of this kind of behavior, and therefore the employee was suspended as soon as the matter came to our attention.”
