Now, just because they are dating, it does not mean they have great chemistry.
Andrew Garfield hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time and to show support, his on and off-screen girlfriend Emma Stone was there to show him love by giving him a really awkward kiss.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 stars cracked up the audience last night with a sketch called “Spider-Man Kiss,” in which they filmed a dramatic final scene where Spider Man takes Gwen Stacy to the top of the Brooklyn Bridge for the ultimate kiss. There was one problem though – they couldn’t get it right.
“How do normal people kiss?,” Garfield asked Stone. “I don’t know just try something,” Stone replies. As they tried to get the kiss right, the couple smashed their cheeks together, stuck their tongues out and tried to kiss each other with open mouths. Garfield then picks Stone up and makes out with her chin.
To nail the scene, Garfield ended up kissing Chris Martin instead! Martin appeared randomly, put a wig on his head, dipped Garfield over and leaned in for a kiss before going on to perform Magic and A Sky Full of Stars with Coldplay.
