If you love wearing makeup, you’d know the pains of having to remove everything thoroughly at the end of the day before moving on to your skincare routine. Some use makeup remover wipes, while some others soak cotton pads with liquid makeup remover to cleanse off traces of makeup from their face. This is pretty time consuming and having to do this extra step when you’re dead tired isn’t very ideal. However, all this has changed for me ever since I’ve started using Boscia’s Tsubaki Cleansing Oil-Gel. A makeup remover and face cleanser all in one? I just couldn’t say no. This product is preservative-, artificial fragrance-, color-, gluten-, and ethanol alcohol-free. It has been dermatologist tested.
When I first took the bottle out from the packaging, I was surprised because the bottle is so tiny! For the price, you get 150ml worth of product and that’s very little. However, after using it for the past three weeks, the product has only gone down less than an inch. So, don’t be fooled! With this product, a little goes a very very long way and one pump is sufficient to cleanse your entire face.
Although the product looks pink in the bottle, it looks clear once you pump it out. The product has a gel-like consistency that’s cooling and refreshing once applied on the skin. What I love about it is that it glides on super smooth on the skin. Hence, you don’t have to tug at your skin while cleansing and let it do its magic while you gently massage your skin in circular motions. As for the scent of the product, it’s pleasant and didn’t bother me at all.
This product does an amazing job at removing all my makeup, even waterproof products, and doesn’t leave me with traces of makeup here and there. I’ve used plenty of makeup removers in the past and I dare say that not many will be able to compare to the power of this product. After a splash of water, my skin feels soft, very clean and super smooth. Although this product is oil-based, it washes away perfectly with water and doesn’t leave any greasy residue on the skin. This is always a plus! After using this product, I usually proceed with the rest of my skincare routine.
Clearly, this life-changing product has saved me a lot of time at night before bed and I’m very impressed. Although it is sightly more expensive compared to other makeup removers or facial cleansers, this product does both the jobs at once. For its power, I wouldn’t mind investing a little bit more into the product. This product is safe for any skin type and I would recommend it to anyone who uses makeup on a daily basis. If you’re looking to shorten the amount of time you spend taking care of your skin, you need this product in your life!
