“I’ll be the one you won’t forget” – Ke$ha
Pop singer Ke$ha appeared healthy in her first red carpet appearance since finishing a two month-stint in rehab to treat an eating disorder.
The “Timber” singer looked stunning in a sheer, backless black gown on Saturday when she attended the Humane Society of the United States’ 60th anniversary gala.
The singer recently dropped the signature dollar sign from her name and a friend of hers told People magazine that she’s also dropped the negative influences that used to surround her before she sought treatment in rehab.
“Since exiting rehab Kesha has been focusing on her inner strength and practicing self-love — really making sure she’s continuing to follow the rules and guidelines set for her while in rehab,” Patrick Gomez, a reporter for People magazine, told Good Morning America.
In January, Kesha’s mother said her daughter’s condition was so bad that doctors said she was lucky to be alive.
Earlier this month, the singer tweeted a photo of herself wearing a T-shirt that read “IMA SURVIVOR.” She also tweeted: “Happy to be back! Feeling healthy & working on tons of new music. I can’t thank my fans enough for all the love & support u have given me.”
