I’ve never really been a fan of night creams. The previous ones I’ve tried made my skin feel very uncomfortable and I would feel crazy greasy even before I hit the sack and wait for the creams to work their magic on my skin overnight. Honestly, when I was handed over Soap & Glory’s Beauty Sleep Accelerator Night & Flight Moisture Miracle cream, I never expected it to do much for my skin and the sole reason why I decided to give it a shot was because I love Soap & Glory, aside from being a sucker for cute packagings. First of all, can we just talk about how heavenly this cream smells? If you’re well-versed with Soap & Glory products, you’d know that all their products have THE best scents ever. This cream particularly smells exactly like iced peach tea and even though it’s fruity, it’s not sickly sweet. Upon unscrewing the jar, I just fell in love with the cream before I even tried it on my skin.
The texture of the cream is light in consistency and blends really well on the skin. After I used my serum, I dotted a small pea-sized amount of the cream onto my forehead, nose, cheeks and chin, and then blended the cream in. I don’t know what it is about this cream, but it is super lightweight and almost just disappeared instantaneously into my skin without making me feel greasy at all. Previously, a lot of other night creams I’ve tried made me feel like there was a film on my skin and trust me, those creams were not comfortable to wear to bed. But with this one, I didn’t feel it bothering me at all after application and it’s a plus as you know it wouldn’t stain or transfer onto your pillows and sheets when you snooze.
This cream really is heaven-sent for the skin. Every time I sleep with this cream on, I’m surprised by what it does for my skin. I wake up with my skin feeling extremely smooth, soft and hydrated, and I just look brighter, more glowing and more awake. With just one use, you’d notice a huge difference the next morning in how your skin looks and feels, which is amazing considering the price of the product. I know that the product doesn’t claim to reduce fine lines, but I’ve noticed that my smile lines have diminished after using this product for three weeks. I’ve also received compliments from friends saying that my complexion has improved!
I love this product and I would purchase another jar if I ran out, without a doubt. On my oily combination skin, I’d say that this product worked tremendously well and absorbed pretty fast. I now use this product every day before bed and I feel very pampered every time I put it on. This Soap & Glory product is very impressive and I reckon that everyone should try it out to witness its potential. Seriously, it’s underrated.
