George Clooney officially steps out with his British lawyer girlfriend Amal Alamuddin, after photos of them surfaced. The good-looking couple were seen leaving the Carlyle Hotel in New York City last night before heading to a dinner.
Clooney and Alamuddin were also spotted vacationing and engaging in the casual PDA in the Seychelles and on a wildfire safari in Tanzania over the weekend.
So just who is capturing the heart of one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors? Here are five things you should know about Miss Alamuddin:
1. Beauty with brains. Amal is a lawyer who specialises in international law, human rights, extradition and criminal law. Looks like there will be plenty for her to chat and debate about with the longtime political activist and Hollywood hunk.
2. Eligible Bachelorette: Quite the eligible bachelorette herself in all of the U.K, Amal landed on the number #1 spot of London’s Hottest Barrister (British term for lawyer) list in 2013.
3. She speaks more than two languages. This brunette beauty speaks fluent English, Arabic and French!
4. Famous Followers: Well, kind of. Movie star Ashton Kutcher actually follows Amal on her Twitter account.
5. The Assange Connection: It looks like Amal does not fear the limelight or a little notoriety. She is currently representing WikiLeaks’ founder Julian Assange in his extradition proceedings with Sweden.
