Just yesterday, we wrote about the tragic suicide of designer L’Wren Scott. Devastated, her lover Mick Jagger is now speaking up about her sad death.
The 70-year-old Rolling Stones rocker has made a touching and mournful statement regarding the tragedy on his Facebook page.
“I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way,” Jagger posted together with a gorgeous photo of his late partner. “We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves.”
“She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me,” he continued. “I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received. I will never forget her, Mick.”
Jagger’s statement comes just hours after Rolling Stones cancelled the first date of their Australian tour this week. The band is slated to perform in Sydney, Melbourne and Macedon later in March.
Jagger and Scott were together for 13 years prior to her death.
