Avril Lavigne’s not as tough as she seems!
The “Sk8er Boi” singer startled fans last week when she screamed and fled the stage midway through her performance. The video shows the incident taking place at the 3:55 mark.
Avril freaked out during her concert in China leading her to yelping and running backstage during her rendition of “I’m With You.” Rumours have it that the source of the scare may have been a fan attempting to climb the stage. A fan once grabbed Avril after rushing onto the stage during her concert in Brazil back in 2011.
Avril performed in China as part of her Asian tour promoting her new album. The self-titled album is Avril’s fifth studio release and it features duets with hubby Chad Kroeger as well as Marilyn Manson.
