In conjunction with International Women’s Day this coming March, ntv7 announced that five remarkable women have been selected by the public to share their amazing stories and journey on Bella Hopes.
Consisting of five episodes, Bella Hopes is a special documentary done to celebrate women and their contributions. The programme will tell the stories of astounding works initiated by five amazing women who have vowed to implement positive changes in their community. These five women are Puspa Rani – the founder of Malaysia Independent Animal Rescue (MIAR), New Su Shern – an anti-human trafficking activist from Project Liber8, Munirah Mahmud – the founder of PERTIWI Soup Kitchen, Choo Poh Leem – a Marine Biologist who thrives on preserving the environment and Diana Rose – founder of the ‘Lamin Dana’ Cultural House and builder of ‘Lamin Dana’, a traditional Melanau tall house in Mukah, Sarawak that serves as a homestay and centre for traditional Melanau crafts and performing arts.
The five-episode documentary, Bella Hopes premieres March 2nd, 2014 and will continue every Sunday at 8.30pm on ntv7 (astro channel 107) and will also be playing on Tonton.
