The most important ceremony is in full swing! With 82 categories in total, the 56th Annual Grammy Awards saw hip-hop newcomers Macklemore & Ryan Lewis winning big this year, taking home Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for Thrift Shop, and Best Rap Album for The Heist. After keeping a low profile for a few years, Daft Punk’s return to the music scene with their new album Random Access Memories was clearly well-celebrated when the album was announced as Best Dance/Electronica Album, and Best Engineered Album (Non-Classical).
