Puns aside, looks like the law finally caught up to Justin’s notorious antics. After being released from the raid at his mansion in Los Angeles, the 19-year-old pop star was arrested in Miami beach. He was charged with drunk driving, resisting arrest and driving without a valid license after he was caught street racing.
When the police officer stopped and pulled him over at 4am, Biebs asked the cop, “What the f*** did I do? Why did you stop me?”
Justin was booked into a Miami jail after failing his sobriety test.
He made it in jail for only an hour after he made a brief appearance through a video link before a Miami judge, who set a “standard” $2,500 bond.
According to Miami Beach Police Chief Raymond Martinez, Justin “made some statements that he had consumed some alcohol, and that he had been smoking marijuana and consumed some prescription medication”.
The trouble poster was driving a yellow Lamborghini in a race against a red Ferrari in a residential area of Miami Beach, Martinez said. The cars were speeding at about 55 to 60 mph in a 30 mph zone.
Martinez says that Justin chose not to cooperate with the officer. “At first, he was a little belligerent, using some choice words questioning why he was being stopped and why the officer was even questioning him,” said Martinez.
Martinez also quoted Justin, who said the following to the officer who arrested him:
“I ain’t got no f***ing weapons. Why do you have to search me? What the f*** is this about?”
According to other reports, Justin’s latest arrest could also mean that the star might find himself getting deported out of the United States. Marijuana possession, egging his neighbor’s house, and felonies could lead to immigration trouble if he sees criminal conviction.
Looks like Selena’s alleged texts about Justin getting jail time did come true after all.
