When it comes to kitchen knives, Taylors of Sheffield really know the sharpest ones. As if kitchen knives aren’t already the driest shopping subject, they’ve just announced their next big thing – a strikingly fancy block of slicers enough to put any guillotine to shame.
Made from high-quality stainless steel, the brilliantly-coloured slicers come in 5 different hues (purple, pink, blue, orange, and green) with plastic handles. Each “colour” serves a different purpose, from carving, to chopping, to paring, and to..you know what? We think that they could very well shred and cut just about anything to ribbons too.
For £34.99 (about RM160), they’re so bright, they’d glow in the dark!
“Taylor’s Coloured Kitchen Knife Block”, as cheeky as the colours are, is probably the best way to coax aspiring “MasterChefs” out of their shyness. So if you’re a noob in the kitchen and you can’t tell a chef’s knife from a paring knife, that’s fine (although that’s actually quite a no-brainer). The separate colours for each individual knife’s purpose will remind you and show you how it should be used. Perhaps then you can show everyone else how it’s done.
Just hold it in the right direction when the time comes.
