British luxury brand Mulberry pays a tribute to the Chinese New Year celebration by creating special edition gold envelopes for its customers. The envelopes are inspired by Mulberry’s iconic ‘Made in England’ Willow bag that features a detachable envelope-shaped clutch. Following the Chinese tradition of giving ‘ang pows’ (gift money) during the festival, these gold envelopes will be given to customers at Mulberry stores throughout the Chinese New Year period.
In addition to that, the brand has also plans to launch ‘Postcards from Shanghai’, a city-focused collaboration with travel and photography journal Cereal magazine, that you can find on mulberry.com from Friday 31 January 2014 onwards.
For those who are planning on their Lunar Year outfits, Mulberry has a luxurious variety on auspicious red fashion items, which includes the classic Bayswater, satchel icon Alexa and vintage-inspired Small Suffolk.
