Following the worldwide introduction of its first LifeWear collection last season, UNIQLO launches its LifeWear 2014 Spring/Summer Collection.
Rather than following trends, UNIQLO focuses on offering clothing that is innovative, universal in design and high in quality. UNIQLO’s direction also considers those needs driven by the consumer through the advent of LifeWear. Neither sportswear nor casual wear, LifeWear defines a new category of clothing, promoting comfort and enriching lives.
For the 2014 Spring/Summer season, UNIQLO has focused even more on creating pieces made from fabrics that provide a soft, comfortable experience, designed to effortlessly complement those wearing it, through nine distinct design projects – Linen, Supima® Cotton, Jeans, Polo Shirts, Smart Style Pants, Topics! – Lush & Bloom, AIRism, Bratop, and Steteco & Relaco.
Core basics like UNIQLO Jeans and Polo Shirts are always improving and the 2014 Spring/Summer season is no exception – these wardrobe staples now have a modern update, with a wide selection of cuts and colours. UNIQLO has also optimized the inherent qualities of premium natural fabrics like Linen and Supima® Cotton to offer a variety of styles and designs. The AIRism Project and the Bratop Project continue to revolutionize clothing, with their effortless comfort.
This season also showcases a variety of UT (Uniqlo T-shirt) designs for men, women, and kids created under NIGO – UNIQLO’s first Creative Director for the UT brand. Last but not least, it features a special line of women’s clothing co-branded with INES DE LA FRESSANGE PARIS, designed in collaboration with the style icon.
