When Brian Durham and his wife Suki noticed that they were spending too much time on their smartphones and less time being intimate, they came up with a way to bring couples together through the blueMotion massager.
The Durhams are also founders of high-tech sex toy company, OhMiBod. Their most popular products are the music vibrators that align to the beat, rhythm, and volume of the music you’re playing. So, the louder your music, the stronger the vibrations get.
The blueMotion massager is a thin vibrator that sits in front of a blue panty that comes along with the massager. It can record ambient sounds up to 60 seconds.
According to Mashable, the blueMotion massager has a Bluetooth chip inside it, which slides into the front of the blue panty:
There’s a motor that reacts to the remote app controls and takes advantage of built-in smartphone features like accelerometer, touch screen and volume controls.
BlueMotion can also record ambient sound up to 60 seconds. This means a partner could record songs or say phrases such as “I love you” to create a unique vibrating pattern.
“It’s a really fun way to control vibrations without anyone knowing what you’re doing because the remote is on your phone,” said Brian Dunham. “Technology can drive couples apart, but this is using technology and gadgets to bring them closer together.”
Durham adds that they’re working to bring long distance connectivity to the app by summer 2014. The one-size-fits-all blueMotion massager is slated to hit the markets in March.
