China is redefining the way couples shop, and this includes less whining from the mouths of men. According to Kotaku, several Chinese shopping centers have opened up daycare centers for husbands to rest while their wives fill their wardrobes with more lavish goods.
These rest houses for men are called laogong jicun chu, which literally translates to “husband cloakroom”. The first one was reportedly opened in 2006, and more were seen sprouting up in cities like Shenzhen in 2010. The “husband cloakroom” is the perfect place for men to sit back, relax, chat with other husbands, discuss sports and more.
Some of these cloakrooms also have a cafe-like concept so that husbands can grab a bite to eat while their wives charge an extra hundred on their credit cards.

Do you think we need some of these in Malaysia, considering the fact that we have so many shopping centers in town?
