Rapper Doe B Shot Dead in Alabama

22-year-old rapper Doe B was killed along with 21-year-old female, Kimberle Johnson, during an early shooting in Centennial Hill Bar and Grill, Alabama on December 28th, 2013 (Saturday).

The police quickly responded to a call after multiple gunshots were fired at the 900th block of Highland Avenue around 1:30a.m. The authorities found Doe B, whose real name is Glenn Thomas, and Kimberle Johnson, along with six other victims at the shooting scene.

Kimberle Johnson was found dead at the scene while Doe B was pronounced dead at the local hospital.

Following his death, his management also confirmed that his music will still be released as he has already recorded over 200 songs.

The talented rapper was signed by Grand Hustle Records, which is founded by T.I. in 2012. He also scored a record deal with Interscope Records and collaborated with the label’s founder, as well as Juicy J in “Let Me Find Out”. Check out the video here:

Doe B’s friends poured their hearts out on social media to mourn his death.

T.I. posted a photo on Instagram and the caption reads:

RIP to my lil brother Doe B. We gon miss u my nigga. U’ll never be forgotten & U WILL NOT DIE IN VAIN. We Love U champ. Always. Just rest now my nigga….WE GOT IT From here.

Doe B’s manager, DJ Frank White released in a statement:

“The world has lost a great person and a genius artist way to soon. Doe’s work ethic was incredible, he still has over 200 unreleased hits. His memory will live on.”

The Blueprint Group said: 

“Doe B was an amazing young man, in every sense of the word. A truly talented artist, a loving father and a dedicated member of the Hip Hop community at large, he touched the lives of the many people who had the privilege of knowing him. The Blueprint Group offers our condolences to our Doe B label partners Interscope / Hustle Gang, his management DJ Frank White and Brooklyn Knights, and most of all his family, friends and fans at this very difficult time. We ask that you remember him not by his untimely death, but by his love of life and the music he left behind.”
