Name: Charmaine Pua
Age: 28
Occupation: Freelance software developer for liping.lelong.com.my and blogger at www.tallpiscesgirl.com

Describe your personal style: I love to dress simple with a hint of detail here and there. Due to limited budget, I usually buy pieces in colors that can be easily mixed and matched and can be worn to various occasions like white, black, grey and red. I’m slowly moving towards more vibrant styles and colors because I realized that the color of my outfit can affect my mood and vice versa. It’s time to be more positive and welcome the new year ahead! In times when I’m lazy to think on how to mix and match, I’ll just grab a one-piece! The most important element in my style is comfort, stylish and elegant.

What do you think about the fashion scene in KL: The fashion scene in KL is very exciting due to the multi racial nature of our country. On top of that, everyone is also influenced by fashion styles from different countries! It’s a good thing that people are willing to put more effort and daring in dressing up nowadays. As Hallyu Wave (Korean Wave) is trending at the moment, I expect to see more exciting styles in KL!

Your favorite place to shop: My favourite place to shop would be Nichii, UNIQLO and H&M. As a tall and not-so-slim girl, it’s not easy to get clothes from boutiques that only offer free size. Very often, they’re too short for me. That being said, the brand doesn’t matter as much as the style and cutting. I also shop at other small boutiques as long as they have my size.
