Beyoncé has once again touched our hearts on Christmas Eve when the pop star made a young girl’s wish come true.
A video was posted on the singer’s YouTube channel and in the clip, we meet Taylon, as she attends Beyoncé’s show earlier this month in Las Vegas, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
“They found an inoperable tumor on her brain, and her dying wish was to dance with Beyoncé,” Ivy McGregor of Philanthropy Program Partnerships says in the video.
Surely, that’s exactly what Beyoncé did when she made her way over to Taylon. She crouched down and gave her a hug as she sat in her wheelchair.
A crying Taylon was then on her feet dancing as she and Beyoncé sang the Destiny’s Child hit “Survivor” together.
“Here’s a little girl literally fighting for her life,” says McGregor. “‘Tomorrow’s not promised, next week’s not promised, but right now I’m here,’ and her thought that will forever stay with me is, ‘Since I’m here, I might as well live.'”
