The Care Bears™ are characters that were created by American Greetings in the early 80s for use on greeting cards. The artwork became so popular that they were turned into plush, cute teddy bears. Each Care Bears™ comes in a different colour and has a personal insignia on its belly representing its duty thus giving them individual personalities. The Care Bears™ then garnered enough popularity and attention to appear in their very own TV specials, their own television series, and several feature films.
I don’t know about you but it was all thanks to them that I grew up believing that we could actually slide down rainbows and walk or bounce around on fluffy clouds.

Uniqlo, the Japan-based global retailer has recently begun selling a range of Care Bears™ Graphic T-Shirts. Brokered by American Greetings Corporation and Japanese licensing agent MindWorks Entertainment, the new Care Bears™ apparel have reached 800 Uniqlo stores across Japan and will invade all other 150 stores in China, Hong Kong, Korea, USA, UK, France, Russia, Taiwan, Macau, Singapore, and last but not least, Malaysia!
