Kristen Stewart, the 23-year-old lead actress of “The Twilight Saga” has been announced as the new face of Chanel’s Métiers d’Art Paris-Dallas collection campaign by Karl Lagerfeld. Photos of the Texas-themed pre-fall campaign will be released in May 2014.
Kristen Stewart was spotted at the brand’s Métiers d’Art show on Wednesday night wearing the brand’s high-waisted orange leather trousers with a long-sleeved crop top from the Spring/Summer 2014 Chanel show. Other celebrities were also spotted at the event: Vogue editor Anna Wintour, editor-at-large Andre Leon Talley and actresses Lily Collins, Dakota Fanning, as well as Zoe Kravitz.
Stewart and Lagerfeld met in January last year during a photo shoot when she was styled in a Chanel Couture outfit. “The Twilight Saga” star has been a friend and a supporter of Lagerfeld as she has been seen regularly in his shows and wearing Chanel at global red carpet events.
In 2012, Stewart also appeared on the Balenciaga Florabotanica campaign.
