Rumours have been circulating claiming that Justin Bieber will be replacing the late Paul Walker as ‘Brian O’Conner’. But before you start smashing bottles in disbelief and frustration, don’t worry – We’ve got answers.
The rumours are false!
The rumours first circulated when carbuzz.com reported that “Ludacris having already voiced his approval of the idea of putting the 19-year-old Canadian in the film.”
Ludacris said that Justin Bieber may land a role in Fast & Furious 7 during an interview in May this year. However, this was BEFORE Walker’s tragic accident.
During the interview, Ludacris was asked if the ‘Baby’ singer may be “angling for a part,” and he responded, “He’s probably ready to shoot, I guarantee…I think he’s gonna love this movie so much he’s gonna try to get in here. A lot of people fighting for position to get parts in the movie, but we’ll see how we can incorporate everybody,” he added.

The rumour is starting to confuse fans of the film franchise, and they’ve expressed their dissatisfaction towards this decision. Fans think that Justin’s ‘bad boy’ image would jeopardise the film’s reputation. At the age of 19, the Canadian star has already been spotted partying with strippers, sleeping with unknown girls, and doing bratty things like getting his security guards to carry him up the Great Wall of China.
On the other hand, Universal Pictures also confirmed that the production of Fact & Furious 7 has been shut down temporarily until they can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise.
We know that Paul Walker is irreplaceable, but if you could choose, who do you think would be the perfect candidate for the role of Brian O’Conner in Fast & Furious 7?
