With Kuala Lumpur being recently listed as the one of the best shopping cities in the world, Sungei Wang Plaza has chosen the right time to re-launch its new look after undergoing a refurbishment project.
The RM 30 million refurbishment project took 12 months to complete, and consisted of major upgrades including new ceilings and tiles on every floor, a freshly repainted facade, upgraded lift lobbies and washrooms, improved mall signage, as well as new balustrades and lighting at the main atrium.
This project also included the exterior part of the mall where they developed a 132-metre new covered walkway, ‘Sungei Wang Walk’, that’s equipped with bright lightings and CCTV cameras, upgraded taxi stands and other amazing decorations to beautify the walkway.
In addition, they have also installed 16 units of touch screen kiosk directory with mobile applications for their shoppers’ convenience.
