The Asia New Star Model Contest – Face of Malaysia (FOM) finale was held in Paradigm Mall recently, and the winners who will represent our country at the Asia Model Festival Awards in Seoul have been announced!
This modeling contest aims to discover the next crop of top star models in Malaysia, and they not only need to have modeling talents, but also possess potential star qualities. The judges of the contest were Malaysia’s top model Amber Chia, Benjamin Toong, President of Korea Pro Makeup Association Ahn Mee-Ryu, International Director of Korea Model Association (KMA) Raulen Lee and Advertising & Promotions Manager of Paradigm Mall Lew Wen Feng.
All four winners will be competing at the annual Asia New Star Model Contest (ANSMC), which will be held in conjunction with the prestigious 9th Asia Model Festival Awards this coming January in Seoul, Korea.
Besides their all-expenses paid trip to Seoul, the two main winners will become the 2014 faces of Paradigm Mall. They will be walking down the runway as celebrity models for the Paradigm Mall Fall/Winter 2013 fashion week. Apart from that, they will also receive prizes including products from Philips and Neubodi, return Air Asia tickets to Hanoi (Vietnam), modeling courses from Amber Chia Academy and a fashion spread with Keith Kee Couture.
Winners: Female: Coco Siew Zhi Shing (16 years old) Male: Josh Yen Yoong Che (20 years old)
First Runner Up: Female: Carmen Liew Jia Wen (20 years old) Male: Anthony Pang Chun Sen (21 years old)
This year, FOM branched into the format of an online reality show and all web episodes can be found on its official YouTube Channel, AMFA Malaysia.
