Name: Carmen Hong
Age: 21
Occupation: Auditor, Blogger at www.CarmenHong.com, Buyer for etc.

Describe your personal style:
Can I be completely honest and say this is a tough question? I don’t have a definite style that I can describe but I rather I like to play around with pieces of clothes I have or I like. Sometimes I like the structured look, but sometimes I love those flowy dresses. And you’ll see me in a monotone outfits too. When I shop, I shop for pieces that are unique but yet, it complements my figure. There is only one rule I follow in fashion, which is to only wear clothes that I am comfortable in wearing. If you’re uncomfortable in your clothes, it shows and that is the biggest faux pas anyone can make.

What do you think about the fashion scene in KL:
I think the fashion scene here in KL is still in its infant stage, mostly because people only dress up for on occasions or events. Otherwise, they would be dressed up in a casual and practical outfits. This could be due to the weather in Kuala Lumpur. I wish more would dress up in dresses and skirts instead of a staple of jeans and shorts. But, the fashion scene is here definitely growing with more people posting up their OOTDs.

Your favorite place to shop:
I have a lot of favourite places to shop, so really asking me to narrow it down is bit difficult. I do most of my shopping online but I also love shopping at Times Square because clothes there are really cheap, like you can get about 9 dresses for RM300. I know most girls would cringe at the thought of Times Square because of the type of clothes usually sold there, but there are gems and really pretty pieces you can find there. You just need to know where to go. Other than that, I love to shop at Zara, Berskha and H&M; they have just the most gorgeous clothes there.
