Name: Angeline Ng
Age: 21 yrs old
Occupation: Student and blogger
Describe your personal style: I love to experiment with different kinds of styles to find a personal style that’s suitable for me and I’m always inspired by other bloggers and Youtube vloggers all around the world. When I was young, I used to be a girly girl but currently, I’m directing towards the rocker chic and grunge style because I cannot get enough of monochrome outfits, studs and chunky heels.

Your thoughts on the fashion scene in Kuala Lumpur: I’m truly positive that the KL fashion scene has been growing pretty well as I’ve seen tons of fashionistas walking around the streets, especially in malls and huge festivals. I love seeing different coordinates in which some people take extra effort to dress up. For instance, during art festivals some of them dress in an over the top manner and I think that it is something they should be proud of because … who cares? As long as you’re comfortable with your style, it should be all that matters. Most Malaysians are inspired by the Western and K-pop culture, so I’m very happy to know that the fashion scene in KL is heading in that direction.

Your favourite places to shop: My most common places to shop are definitely Topshop, Forever 21 and H&M. Of course, I love shopping online because it’s cheaper than retail stores. Also, I love going to vintage stores to find unique statement pieces even though they are a little hard to come by in KL. I’m always looking forward to visiting those stores!
