Lady Gaga has just been unveiled as the new face of Versace for their Spring and Summer campaign for 2014.
The Italian fashion house tweeted on Saturday, November 23rd, “#Versace proudly confirms @LadyGaga as the face of SS14 campaign shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott #VersaceLovesGaga”.
Versace also revealed the first photo of the “Applause” singer for their campaign, and we can’t help but to feel that she is channelling the designer, Donatella Versace herself.
She looks absolutely stunning in the revealing lilac dress and long blonde locks, don’t you think?
Mama Monster also expressed her excitement on Twitter saying, “I’m so happy to be working w/ @Versace for the new Campaign! What do you wanna wear this Spring?#Donatella #famiglia”.
Donatella then responded, “To a true iconic contemporary Versace woman: Thank you. -Donatella”.
It’s no secret that Gaga is a huge Versace fan as she penned a song called “Donatella” on her brand new Artpop album.
