Adam Brody and Leighton Meester are now engaged! Who would’ve thought that Gossip Girl’s mean ‘Queen B’ would be tying the knot with the sensitive O.C. stud?
The lovely couple have been dating since early February this year and a source from Star magazine said, “Leighton and Adam are crazy about each other and have talked about getting married eventually. But she had no idea he would propose so soon! It was the surprise of her life and she’s ecstatic!”
Even though they have dated other co-stars in the past, this would mark their first marriage. Previously, Leighton has dated Aaron Himelstein from Remember the Daze and Sebastian Stan from Gossip Girl. On the other hand, Adam dated Rachel Bilson, who was his co-star from the set of O.C.
“I haven’t been in a lot of relationships, but I’ve been in love,” Leighton opened up to Cosmopolitan magazine last year. “There’s an inexplicable chemistry. You just really, really want to, like, stare at the person. I’ve never fallen in love right off the bat. I get scared to say I love you too soon because it means so much. It means you’re not seeing an end to things,” she continued.
